PHP Search is a PHP class for searching and highlighting words or phrases in HTML, featuring:

· Ignores HTML markup and punctuation
· Search is case insensitive
· Highlighting is done with span tags, allowing any stylesheet to highlight differently
· Multiple terms can be searched independently
· Phrases can be searched by using surrounding quotes (")
· The * wild card character can be used in searches
· The - not operator can be used to exclude certain terms
· Common words are ignored for better results
· Search can be inclusive of every word or any word

A default stylesheet is also provided through a parameter, or the styles can be specified by the user.
