WebManager is an all encompassing file management system. Features all of the following without requiring a database:
· Browse the directory structure sorted by name, size, type, or date
· Upload multiple files at once
· Create new files and directories
· Download files from a URL
· Rename, move, copy, and delete files and directories
· Edit files online (can be configured to work with WYSIWYG editors)
· Images can be resized, cropped, rotated, flipped, and created from icons
· EXIF image data is displayed (no extension required)
· Files can be extracted from zip archives
· Copy, Move, Delete, or Zip a collection of files
· MP3 files can be streamed (XSPF player required, included)
· Search for files and directories by name
· Search for files by containing certain text
· Each user can have a different group policy
· Deleted files and directories are moved to a recycle bin and can be restored
· Editable files can be reverted to a previous version
· All file creation tasks use IntelliNaming
IntelliNaming is a system in place to create a new name to prevent file overwriting, but still completing the task. This especially helps when uploading, so the time and bandwidth aren't wasted if a file with the same name already exists.
All settings and policies can be adjusted through a settings editor by the administrator. Note: Login is only provided in version 3.0+. Version 2.0+ requires PHP 5.x+.
