µPortal is a lightweight, powerful personal portal to the web with Mobile web enabled devices in mind. Features include customizable modules, AJAX driven module loading with live updating, user based module layout, theme support, and more. Modules can be created to do almost anything, and can be installed by simply uploading a zip file.
Standard modules included are:
· Email - display emails from a POP3 mail account
· Weather - get live weather for your area from Yahoo!
· RSS - display RSS web feeds from anywhere
· Web Links - list your favorite bookmarks for easy access
· Notes - simple online notepad
· Calendar - shows holidays and user specified events
· Settings - settings editor
Other modules will be added all the time, ranging from games like Yahtzee! to Live Stock quotes and much more.
Note: Settings editor and live updater are disabled in Mobile view.
Try a basic install here. Use 'demo' for the username, and '123456' for the password.
